About Platinum Home Exteriors

Steven Yoder is the owner of Platinum Home Exteriors. Steven is an Amish husband, dad, and business owner.   He takes all of his responsibilities very seriously and values the  morals he was raised within a God-fearing household. He started as a laborer in a construction company when he was 14. When he turned 19, he went into business with a friend, starting his own construction company. After two years, he was bought out by his partner.   Soon after, he partnered with his brother and started another construction company with his brother that focused on framing, roofing, siding, and decks. In 2020, his brother got an offer he couldn’t refuse and went to work for another company. Steve then changed the company’s name to Platinum Home Exteriors, focusing on being the best roofing and gutter company in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Steve’s vast construction experience has taught him that excellent craftsmanship is the key to having a great company. With this in mind, he has surrounded himself with the best Amish roofers.  Our roofing team members were all raised Amish, skilled in Amish construction, and very friendly and courteous. Steven knows that standing behind work is also the key to building trust and value for the customer. He takes this very seriously and still insists on doing all the sales and customer service calls himself. The team also knows that the job is not considered completed until everything is cleaned up and removed from the project.
